operations to disaster and emergency response.
DETech’s diverse team means we have the staff to solve your wide variety of challenges – from
hazardous materials to crisis communications. We can design a system that works for a new
emergency management agency or refine and update the processes already in place.
Excercise Design, Delivery, & Evaluation
DETech exercises test plans
and procedures in a controlled learning environment with realistic pressures for decision
making and response. From tabletop to full-scale exercises, from the municipal to the
federal level, our staff can adapt to your needs saving you time and money.
Demonstrated Successes

DETech designed and executed a full-scale,
mass casualty exercise ahead of the 2012
US Olympic Track & Field Trials on the
University of Oregon campus in Eugene, Oregon.
This exercise tested the Multi-Agency
Coordination Center; city, county, and university
emergency management agencies; and police, hospital,
fire, and emergency medical services. More than 100
patients were airlifted via Oregon National Guard air
assets (Blackhawks and Chinooks). This exercise
linked with the US Army National Guard’s annual
exercise, Vigilant Guard.

Exercise Practitioners, has successfully participated in exercises from the municipal and
county levels, through the state and federal levels.
Past and present projects include management and support to the eight sites of the
Chemical Stockpile Emergency Preparedness Program, National Level Exercise - 2, 2008
(Umatilla Vignette to the Pacific Northwest Venue), the Homeland Security Regional
Exercise Support Program, and the U.S. Olympic Track & Field Trials.
