D&E Technical, Inc. (DETech) specializes in a wide range of training and consulting services in science and technology, and emergency management and planning. DETech provides services to federal, state, and local governments, and to corporate customers.

History
In 1995, Dan Maloney established D&E Technical, Inc. (DETech) to pursue engineering and technology opportunities. He was motivated to combine the technical and scientific expertise experienced while working with Argonne National Laboratory and the University of Illinois, with the responsiveness of a small business.
In 2001, DETech began supporting the US Chemical Stockpile Emergency Preparedness Program (CSEPP). Initially, DETech provided chemical hazard analysis expertise. As DETech’s role in CSEPP expanded, DETech grew. Today, DETech has staff in ten locations throughout the US.
